Adam Mandville is a Senior Project Manager and Civil Engineer at Vigilant with over a decade of experience leading large-scale infrastructure projects across Canada and internationally, spanning transportation, institutional, and remote industrial construction. His hands-on background as both a Field Engineer and Superintendent has sharpened his expertise in site logistics, risk management, and problem solving across some of the most demanding environments imaginable. Having successfully managed multimillion-dollar projects such as a 110-person modular camp in remote Newfoundland, light rail extensions, wind farm developments, and complex dam structures, Adam's calm demeanor, technical competence, and attention to detail make him a trusted asset to Vigilant's team and its clients.

Greg Stairs brings more than 35 years of hands-on project management experience across commercial, residential, and institutional construction in Canada and the United States. His civil engineering background and calm leadership style have made him the go-to project manager for global brands including Tim Hortons, Starbucks, and Lululemon Athletica, delivering more than 600 commercial projects over his career. At Vigilant, Greg works as a Senior Project Manager and Owner's Representative, guiding clients through procurement, contractor coordination, and regulatory compliance from design through construction. Kathy Oke is an Intern Architect holding a Master of Architecture from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Memorial University, bringing over five years of professional experience to her work. Her expertise spans schematic design, construction documentation, site analysis, and subconsultant coordination, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Kathy is a client-focused collaborator whose designs have been recognized for both architectural and landscape excellence, reflecting her ability to balance creative vision with technical precision. OPERATIONS LEAD | B.A.

Jessica is Vigilant's Operations Lead and the organizational backbone of the firm. Over the past two and a half years she has served as the CEO's primary partner in running the company, with responsibility spanning finance, human resources, recruitment, marketing, proposals, and day-to-day operations. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from Dalhousie University and brings a background in program coordination, community stakeholder engagement, policy development, and research from her work with Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic and the IWK Health Centre. Her combination of organizational range, people skills, and mission-driven work ethic makes her central to everything Vigilant does behind the scenes.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING COORDINATOR | B.COMM

As Vigilant's Business Development and Marketing Coordinator, Ewan serves as the primary point of contact for project costing inquiries, connecting clients and internal teams with the right resources at every stage. He plays a central role in proposal development, contributing to the preparation and coordination of submissions across Vigilant's service lines. On the financial side, Ewan supports billing and invoicing operations, keeping project accounts accurate and current. Rounding out his role, he drives Vigilant's broader business development efforts, supporting sales, marketing, and client outreach to help the firm grow its presence across Atlantic Canada.

Jeremy Dyer is Vigilant's Senior Cost Estimator, leading the junior costing team in delivering all-class estimates, quantity take-offs, pricing analyses, and cost advisory services across a wide range of institutional, residential, commercial, and specialty-use projects throughout Canada. He works closely with project teams, design consultants, and clients to provide iterative pricing throughout preconstruction, offering valuable insights into constructability, value engineering, and risk mitigation grounded in current market research and real-world data. Known for his collaborative nature, client focus, and commitment to accuracy, Jeremy builds lasting relationships through quality service and timely delivery, making him the driving force behind Vigilant's costing practice.

SENIOR CIVIL TECHNOLOGIST

Myles Russell is Vigilant's Senior Civil Technologist with over 20 years of experience, specializing in detailed engineering drawings, 3D modelling, and specifications for major infrastructure projects including highway upgrades, residential developments, and complex siteworks. He is a pioneer in machine control technology, having led the first-ever pegless robotic highway construction in Newfoundland — completing a Parks Canada road upgrade months ahead of schedule and under budget across more than 100 km of robotics-assisted grading. Beyond his technical role, Myles is the founder of Streets Are for People, a not-for-profit promoting inclusive urban development, and a dedicated educator and mentor, making him an invaluable asset to Vigilant and the communities it serves.

Daniel is a Senior Architectural Technologist and the lead technical resource within Vigilant’s architectural team. He holds a Master of Science in Technology from Purdue University and brings over eight years of experience in construction documentation, specifications, code compliance, and consultant coordination across commercial, government, and institutional sectors. Daniel is proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, and Bluebeam, and completed the PSMJ Project Management Bootcamp in 2025.

PROJECT DESIGNER | B.ENVD

Jordayn works closely with Vigilant's lead architect across all phases of design — from space planning and concept development through finishes, furniture procurement, and 3D renderings. She leads early documentation and client presentations, and stays involved through construction to ensure the finished project reflects the original design intent. Currently completing a Master of City Planning alongside her architectural work, Jordayn brings a grounded, practical perspective to every project, keeping client goals, budget, and buildability in view from first concept to completed build.

Emma is a Junior Project Engineer supporting Vigilant’s project management and cost monitoring practice. A civil engineering graduate of Memorial University, she is currently completing her MBA alongside her engineering work. Emma contributes to project coordination, quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and construction administration across active files in Nova Scotia and beyond.

Elise works across two practices at Vigilant, contributing to both project management coordination and cost estimating on projects throughout Atlantic Canada. She leads quantity take-offs, supports senior cost professionals during pricing and budgeting, and keeps project documentation, milestones, and stakeholder communication organized from early planning through closeout. Her project experience spans dealership renovations, community facilities, and wellness centres, where she has taken on procurement, construction administration, and cost monitoring responsibilities. Gabriel is a Junior Project Designer specializing in architectural visualization and 3D design.
