Designed to be built. Our architectural practice was built inside a project management firm, which means our designers think like builders. Every design decision is evaluated against construction cost, schedule, and practical buildability before it becomes a drawing.
Civil Engineering
Technical precision, Atlantic market knowledge. Our civil engineering team brings deep experience in Atlantic Canadian ground conditions, regulatory environments, and infrastructure requirements. Integrated with our design and cost teams, civil is part of the project conversation from day one, not a separate engagement bolted on after design.
Cost Estimating
Know what your project costs before you're committed. We provide construction cost estimates at every stage of design — not just at tender. Our estimating practice predates our design practice, which means we estimate the way contractors think, not the way architects hope. No wishful numbers.

Budget certainty through every phase. At Vigilant, cost monitoring is a design function, not a downstream check. Our cost professionals are in the room during design development, tracking budget impact as decisions are made. By the time construction documents are issued, the budget has been managed for months.
